Rain Means Crews are Working This Weekend

interCHANGE Traffic Advisory

The following work is planned for next week on the project. All work is weather dependent; it may be postponed or cancelled without prior notice.

FRIDAY, APRIL 10 Interstate 270 – (NEW)

  • 7 PM: I-270 south will be reduced to three lanes between Sawmill Rd. and Tuttle Crossing Blvd.
  • 9 PM: I-270 south will be reduced to two lanes between Sawmill Rd. and Tuttle Crossing Blvd.
  • 10 PM: The ramps from US 33 east and west to I-270 south will close. The detour is I-270 north to Sawmill Road to I-270 south.
  • 11 PM: I-270 south will be reduced to one lane between Sawmill Rd. and Tuttle Crossing Blvd.

FRIDAY, APRIL 10  US Route 33 East/West (NEW)

  • 8 PM: US Route 33 EB & WB will be reduced to one lane between Avery Rd and Frantz Rd.
  • All lanes will be open by 5AM.
  • These closures are for shoulder paving.

SATURDAY, APRIL 11 Interstate 270 – (NEW)

  • 6 PM: I-270 north will be reduced to two lanes between Tuttle Crossing Blvd. and Sawmill Rd.
  • 10 PM: The ramps from US 33 east and west to I-270 north will close. The detour is I-270 south to Tuttle Crossing Blvd. to I-270 north.
  • 11 PM: I-270 north will be reduced to one lane.
  • 3 AM: The ramp from I-270 north to US 33 west will close. The detour is I-270 north to Sawmill Road to I-270 south to US 33 west.

All lanes and ramps will be open by 8 AM SUNDAY.

SUNDAY, APRIL 12 US ROUTE 33 East/West (NEW)

  • 8 PM: US Route 33 EB & WB will be reduced to one lane between Avery Rd and Frantz Rd.
  • All lanes will be open by 5 AM.
  • These closures are for shoulder paving.
