The following work is planned for next week on the project. All work is weather dependent; it may be postponed or cancelled without prior notice.
MONDAY, APRIL 6
Interstate 270 – I-270 south will be reduced to two lanes between US 33 and Tuttle Crossing from 7 PM to 5 AM to remove striping.
TUESDAY, APRIL 7
Interstate 270 – I-270 north will be reduced to three lanes between US 33 and Sawmill Road from 7 PM to 5 AM to remove striping.
US Route 33 – US 33 will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Frantz Road and Avery Road from 8 PM to 5AM for pavement work.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8
US Route 33 and Avery Road
- 8 PM: The ramp from Avery Road south to US 33 east will be reduced to one lane.
- 9 PM: US 33 east will be reduced to one lane between Avery Road and Frantz Road.
- 9 PM: The ramp from US 33 east to I-270 south will close. The detour is US 33 east to I-270 north to Sawmill Road to I-270 south.
- 12 AM: The ramp from US 33 east to I-270 south will be open.
The closures are for roadway striping. All lanes open by 5 AM.
THURSDAY, APRIL 9
US Route 33
- 8 PM: Frantz Rd. to US 33 west will be reduced to one turning lane.
- 8 PM: Post Rd. to US 33 west will be reduced to one turning lane
- 9 PM: The ramp from I-270 north to US 33 west will be closed. The detour is I-270 north to Sawmill Rd. to I-270 south to US 33 west.
- 9 PM: The ramp from US 33 west to I-270 south will be closed. The detour is US 33 west to Avery Rd. to US 33 east to I-270 south.
- 12AM : Both ramps will be open.
The closures are for roadway striping. All lanes open by 5 AM.
FRIDAY, APRIL 10
Interstate 270
- 7 PM: I-270 south will be reduced to three lanes between Sawmill Rd. and Tuttle Crossing Blvd.
- 9 PM: I-270 south will be reduced to two lanes between Sawmill Rd. and Tuttle Crossing Blvd.
- 10 PM: The ramps from US 33 east and west to I-270 south will close. The detour is I-270 north to Sawmill Road to I-270 south.
- 11 PM: I-270 south will be reduced to one lane between Sawmill Rd. and Tuttle Crossing Blvd.
The closures are for roadway striping. All lanes open by 5 AM.
SATURDAY, APRIL 11
Interstate 270
- 6 PM: I-270 north will be reduced to two lanes between Tuttle Crossing Blvd. and Sawmill Rd.
- 10 PM: The ramps from US 33 east and west to I-270 north will close. The detour is I-270 south to Tuttle Crossing Blvd. to I-270 north.
- 11 PM: I-270 north will be reduced to one lane.
- 3 AM: The ramp from I-270 north to US 33 west will close. The detour is I-270 north to Sawmill Road to I-270 south to US 33 west.
All lanes and ramps will be open by 8 AM. SUNDAY.
